DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performance of Duties
-Be flexible and work in different sections. Attend to any passenger in any section of the room when necessary. Never say “this is not my table”. - Prior to the service, clean all tables, clean and brush chairs and sofas, and clean and distribute ashtrays, bar lists etc. - The service must be of the highest standard. Restrict conversation with passengers to prevent delays in service elsewhere. - Conform with the accounting instructions and immediately report any errors. - Perform service quietly during performance in the Main Lounge and other Public Rooms. - Promote bar sales by actively offering service or recommending drinks. - Properly clean and store a sufficient stock of glasses, crockery, cutlery. GENERAL
- When required, assist with wine service in the Dining Room. - As directed, assist with wine service in the Dining Room. - Assist in cleaning the open decks. - Help to promote the Ship’s entertainment with word of mouth advertising.
