Description

Responsible for the Supervision of the Casino Operation within an assigned area. The Pit Supervisor will ensure that the highest standards of efficiency, guest service, and security are met in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and the directives as set down in the Casino Operations Manual.

The Pit Supervisor is an integral part of the Casino Management team and as such is required to observe the highest levels of professionalism and provide guidance to the Casino Operations personnel.

The Casino Management may assign a Pit Supervisor other duties outside the Casino Operation. The Pit Supervisor are expected to perform these duties to the highest standards of efficiency, guest service and integrity.

In order to consistently exceed guest expectations and provide the highest levels of product and services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

 

HIS/HER RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Ensure that the security and integrity of the Casino Operation is not compromised. Patrons and Dealers alike need to be vigilantly monitored. 
Ensure all of the Dealers follow the directives as set down in the Casino Operations Manual. 
Ensure Dealers execute correct settlement of wagers and perform financial transactions accurately. 
Ensure that the Dealers are performing their duties to the highest standards. 
Maintain the security of sensitive gaming equipment within an assigned area and be responsible for the security as such. 
Supervise the opening and closing of gaming tables checking that all documentation is true and correct. 
Authorize and record all table fills and credits. Assist with Slot hopper fills and hand pays (jackpots/cancelled credits) up to $5000 
Assign Dealers within the pit and monitor their activity. 
Correct reporting and accounting of gaming tables under their Supervision. • Provide instructional guidance and motivation to the Dealers under their Supervision. 
Evaluate rated patron's play and concisely complete relevant paperwork. 
Maintain clear and concise pit reports and record daily incidents in the pit log. 
Resolve gaming disputes and guest complaints utilizing Surveillance and Casino Management whenever possible and/or practical to do so. 
Advise Casino Management of patron complaints and/or gaming disputes. 
Responsible for maintaining the Casino inventory and reporting any shortages or damages. 
Oversee the opening/closing of Slot machines when required. 
Assume the duties of a Dealer when necessary. 
Verify and sign onboard credit transactions at the table before transaction is completed. 
Monitor junkets, house players and high rollers maintaining rating records in conjunction with the Casino Host. 
Induct and train new Dealers required. 
Provide accurate assessments and evaluations of dealing staff to Casino Management. • Motivate Casino personnel through guidance and example. 
Assist in Casino promotions as assigned. 
Participate in company training programs. 
Must be familiar with the Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and the SEMS, and carry out the policies and procedures appropriate for his/her position. 


Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:

·        • Minimum of five years Casino experience preferred.

·        • Experience in 4 games or more of the following games: Blackjack, Roulette, Let it Ride, 3-Card Poker, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Baccarat, Craps, Pai Gow Poker, or Texas Hold'em.

·        • Gaming license preferred

·        • Position requires professional and personable approach to all guests.

·        • Fluent in English Language; Speak, Read, Write.

·        • Maintain the highest standards of Customer Service/Guest Relations.

·        • Dependable and reliable.


Contract length: 36 weeks on/9 weeks off


Salary: 1200 $
